Two-car driveways lead to early 2000s New Traditional-style homes featuring cream vinyl exteriors that add to the community's uniform appeal. Quarter-acre lots feature spacious front lawns and backyards, many of which include a patio for entertaining guests. Homes within this subdivision typically sell from $330,000 to $510,000, depending on size and condition. The community also has a CAP Index Crime Score of 2 out of 10, below the national average of 4.

Liberty Park's fishing pond and the waterslides of Pelican Harbor Aquatic Center
Liberty Park sits at the heart of the neighborhood, within walking distance of each home. Afternoon trips to the park include letting little ones climb about its red, white and blue-themed playground or throwing out a line in the park’s fishing pond. The popular Pelican Harbor Aquatic Park is less than a mile southwest, offering year-round water recreation opportunities. Valley View Community Unit Schools District No. 365-U serves the Lakewood Ridge. Most of its youngest students will attend Jamie McGee Elementary School, which maintains a B on Niche, before heading to A-minus-rated Jane Addams Middle School. Older students take classes at Bolingbrook High School, which has an B-plus rating. The high school offers a wide selection of activities for students to get involved in, whether it’s joining clubs like Model United Nations and Women in STEM or contributing to the school’s newspaper and literary magazine.

Chicago Bolingbrook International Airport is a mile southwest of the neighborhood. The airport serves small private planes heading in and out of the area, offers piloting lessons and hosts occasional airshows. Commuting around and out of Lakewood Ridge
Interstate 55 sits 3 miles southeast of the community, linking commuters to Chicago 30 miles northeast and Chicago Midway International Airport, a 22-mile trip in the same direction. Rasmussen University – Romeoville/Joliet students can reach campus along a 5-mile trip south on North Weber Road. Meanwhile, Uchicago Medicine AdventHealth Bolingbrook sits 3 miles south, off Remington Boulevard. Though there is no access to public transportation within the neighborhood, a series of Pace Bus stops line Briarcliff Road a half-mile east.
