Tropical streets with a coastal-oriented lifestyle
Streets in the Spring Creek Village neighborhood carry the names of faraway tropical islands, a subtle nod to the neighborhood's coastal-oriented lifestyle. Most homes here have direct gulf access with private docks to explore the nearby Gulf of Mexico. While this community is a bit removed, with one road in and one road out, residents still enjoy proximity to the vibrant commercial areas of Bonita Springs, under 3 miles away. And year-round community events ensure there's always something going on. "You can be as busy as you want to be,” says Karen Ventura, a resident and local Realtor with Sundance Realty II. “It's just like resort living on a smaller scale."

Waterfront homes with backyard docks
Spring Creek Village has two distinct housing sections. No matter where homeowners end up, they will have easy gulf access through private docks or the community-maintained boat ramp. The eastern half is a deed-restricted 55-plus community of pastel-colored manufactured houses. Many properties sit on a canal and grant homeowners the option to own the lot, lowering maintenance fees. Home prices range between $250,000 and $550,000, while empty lots range between $200,000 and $300,000. On the other half of the neighborhood, coastal-contemporary style builds sit under the shade of towering palm trees and feature well-manicured front lawns with screened-in backyard swimming pools. Most of these homes are on the waterfront and have private boat docks. Prices range between $600,000 and $800,000, with larger four-bedroom estates reaching $1 million.

Launch a kayak or cast a line in the Gulf of Mexico
With boat storage and a community boat ramp, all residents enjoy unparalleled access to the nearby Gulf of Mexico. "Heading down the creek, you can be in Estero Bay in about 15 minutes," Ventura says. Many days are spent on the water exploring the Estero Bay Aquatic Preserve or casting a line to try and catch a redfish or snook. Kayaking and canoes are other popular ways to traverse the inlets and channels. There are numerous community amenities for recreation on dry land, including tennis courts and a fitness center. There is also a freshwater lake with a catch-and-release fishing pier. While there is no on-site golf, numerous public and private courses are nearby. Saltleaf Golf Preserve is 2.5 miles away and features a championship-level 18-hole golf course designed by four-time major champion Raymond Floyd. And a day on the beach is never far as the lapping shores of Bonita Beach Park are under 10 miles away.
