Large Tudor Revivals and New Traditional-style properties with brick facades sit alongside smaller Craftsmans and ranch-style homes. Many residences were constructed between the 1980s and '90s, though some newer homes have taken root in the neighborhood. According to local Realtor Angelica Fernandez of Keller Williams Houston Central, who has sold dozens of homes around Greater Houston, affordability is one of the main factors contributing to the uptick in population around the area. "It's definitely growing and becoming a beautiful area, to be quite honest," she says. "It's very affordable. You can buy a house within $250,000 with three bedrooms and two baths."
