Bellevue Hill

Historic Colonial homes in Bellevue Hill
With sidewalks that fall under the canopies of deciduous trees, residential homes in Bellevue Hill were mainly built between the 1880s and the middle of the 20th century. Comprised of classic Colonial Revival and Victorian-style residences with sizeable lots up to half an acre, housing prices typically fall between $800,000 and $1.8 million. Developers have also torn down older homes and built newer properties, and these recent builds are scattered throughout the neighborhood. Condo units range from $500,000 to $750,000, and townhouses are about $700,000. “It’s always had tremendous market appeal and attraction,” says Deirdre White, Realtor at Carole White Associates. “Bellevue Hill has a historical feel because of the age of the homes.”
Boston Public Schools
Area students may attend Patrick Lyndon School or Joyce Kilmer School, both of which are kindergarten through eighth-grade schools with a B-minus Niche score. New Mission High School has a B rating and offers a STEM Early College program for students. In addition, New Mission High’s boys’ basketball team recently won the 2024 state championship. The Roxbury Latin School, which is the oldest continuously operating all-boys private school in the nation, was established in 1645 and is located just south of Bellevue Hill.
