Sidewalk-lined streets and evergreens shape the neighborhood

Currently, many properties available to buy throughout Canyon Park are town houses, single-family homes, and rental properties sprinkled throughout the area. Town houses throughout the neighborhood come in all shapes and sizes, from three-bedroom units that have recently sold between $600,000 and $730,000 to newly built luxury town houses priced in the $1 million range. There are also small suburban pockets throughout Canyon Park, with sidewalk-lined streets and towering evergreen trees that match the PNW aesthetic. Many single-family homes were built during the community’s initial development in the 1980s, but with new growth came newly built luxury properties.

Business center fuels growth and job opportunities in Canyon Park

Canyon Park’s business center accounts for much of the community, bringing in thousands of jobs for residents in the area and is the reason for much of the neighborhood’s growth. Part of that growth plan also has to do with its proximity to several major highways and freeways and the ample public transportation throughout the area. With Interstate 405 and State Route 527 within a minute’s distance, residents can get a jump start on their commute.

Students attend A-rated middle and high schools nearby

Nearby public schools are part of the Northshore School District, and many students will start their academic journey at Canyon Creek Elementary School before attending Skyview Middle School, home of the Eagles. Skyview Middle is an A-rated school according to Niche, offering various extracurricular activities for students, including a robotics and technology club and the Talon Newspaper Club that gives students a taste of the newsroom. North Creek High School has received an 8/10 rating from GreatSchools, boasting a 97 percent graduation rate from its 2021-2022 class and 10 College-in-the-High-School classes that count for credits after graduation.

Cedar Grove Park has playgrounds and ball fields for families

The North Creek Trail is a neighborhood nature getaway that takes visitors through wetlands and rural landscapes. Parents can bring their children to Cedar Grove Park for fun on the playground or several ball fields. Residents are also close to the expansive 64-acre North Creek Forest. An area ripe for exploring, this forested area has several multi-use trails visitors can spend hours on.

From dining out to grocery runs, Route 527 is the go-to

Much of the area’s shopping and dining options are along the southern end. Shoppers can get fresh produce and groceries from PCC Community Markets in the Canyon Park Shopping Center along State Route 527. There are plenty of places to eat, from breakfast at Crystal Creek Café, Mexican fare from Viva Jalisco or California rolls from Big Fish Sushi.
