High-end CrossRidge with newer homes and retail near the mall
CrossRidge is a Bowling Green neighborhood with newer homes and lush lawns near the Greenwood Mall, one of Southern Kentucky's premier shopping hubs. Surrounded by a treasure trove of restaurants, retail and parks, CrossRidge has sprawling properties with ample room to roam. "It's a nice area with very high-end homes. It's country living right in the middle of the city," says Ron Cummings, a Century 21 Real Estate broker who has lived in the area for over 30 years. "Bowling Green is 60 miles north of Nashville. We have a university, and it's the only place in the world where Corvettes are made."
Upscale with New Traditional homes on half-acre lots
CrossRidge mixes a traditional suburban neighborhood with an upscale community. Its classic housing stock couples with lush lawns, red maple trees and colorful gardens. Most ranch-style homes were built between 1960 and 1990, while New Traditional and Craftsman-style homes are typically newer, with many built in the early 2000s. Home prices range from $200,000 to $750,000. Manufactured homes are also available and go for $50,000 to $100,000.

Another establishment is Toro, a Tapas bar that serves Spanish-inspired brunch dishes. There are many restaurants in Bowling Green - so many that residents have an inside joke about the volume of options. "Bowling Green is famous for having too many restaurants," Cummings says. "They're everywhere, and we have all kinds."
