Fieldstone Farms is a family-friendly neighborhood of Bowling Green, a city that still maintains its suburban charms and verdancy while being Kentucky’s third-most populated municipality. Residents live north of a cluster of parks and churches, surrounded by restaurants and shopping. “[It offers] very easy access to Interstate 65, and then it’s also got a back entrance which is closer to the downtown shopping area of Scottsville Road — which is one of the main thoroughfares of the city,” says Steve Cline, a broker associate of Berkshire Hathaway Home Services Partners Realty. Cline, who runs his own team with his wife Angi, adds that Fieldstone Farms' active neighborhood association takes pride in maintaining the neat curb appeal of its streets. Life runs at a slower pace in Bowling Green. For the taste of bigger cities, Louisville, Lexington and Nashville are less than two and a half hours away.

Plenty of 2000-era homes, some condos and multifamily units
Brick and vinyl-sided ranch styles, Colonial Revivals and neo traditionals from the 1970s to the mid-2000s fill Fieldstone Farms. The median build year is 2001. Prices typically fall within a range of $214,000 to $560,000 depending on the usual elements of condition and age. Cline says lot sizes are a big factor, too, as some homes rest on a half-acre or more. Yards are tidy and sometimes capped by sidewalks, showcasing trimmed hedges and flowering bushes. Mature trees fill the neighborhood without crowding it, maintaining an overall spacious feeling. The neighborhood's smaller condo selection typically ranges from around $139,000 to $395,000. And its slice of multifamily homes price from around $232,000 to $314,000; however, a few range from $600,000 to $900,000.

Kids attend a respected school district
“One of the things that makes it more desirable is because it’s in a good school district all the way from elementary, middle and high school,” says Angi Cline. Warren County Public Schools is ranked the #23 best school district in the state by Niche and given an overall A-minus rating. Students begin at Natcher Elementary School, which scores a B plus on Niche, before moving on to the A-minus-rated Drakes Creek Middle School and Greenwood High School. The high school has more than 20 athletic teams students can participate in and offers robust advanced placement and dual credit classes. Kentucky State University is in Bowling Green, less than 5 miles from Fieldstone Farms.

Bowling Green Football Club’s coaches provide a pathway to professional, collegiate and national teams for youth with big dreams. Basil Griffin Park is just south of the neighborhood on Jesse W. Thornton Lake with a range of sports courts — including for basketball, football and pickleball — as well as a hockey rink, disc golf course, fishing areas and a large boat ramp. The Aviation Heritage Park and Museum is another feature of the park, showcasing fighter jets and helicopters visitors can touch and take photos with. One aircraft was flown by everyone who ever walked on the moon. Other popular spots within 11 miles are the waterpark Beech Bend and Barren Lake. Residents enjoy a shopping corridor in the neighborhood with Kroger, Starbucks, Hobby Lobby, Qdoba and Fazoli’s. Options expand from there, with many fast-casual restaurants swarming Scottsville Road, running parallel to the neighborhood, and chain retailers such as PetSmart and Dillard's clustered at Shoppes at Gary Farms and Greenwood Mall, less than 3 miles away. Paths through the city and beyond
Residents live less than 3 miles south from the city’s regional airport, which can lead to overhead sounds. “But no matter where you live in [Bowling Green], if you can’t hear the airport, you can probably hear a train,” Steve Cline says. He adds that one of his favorite things about living here is being less than five hours to eight different cities: Indianapolis, St Louis, Cincinnati, Memphis, Knoxville, Nashville, Louisville and Lexington. Nashville is less than 65 miles away. Interstate 65 and U.S. 231 circle the neighborhood, creating paths through the city and beyond.
Historic flooding in 2025
Bowling Green experienced historic flooding in 2025, affecting the whole city, especially areas surrounding Nashville Road, Louisville Road and Russellville Road, all outside Fieldstone Farms. However, Cave Mill Road and Smallhouse Road — direct routes into the neighborhood — were severely affected and became impassable. The city declared a state of emergency and established shelters for victims.
