Heart of Boynton offers below-median prices and beach proximity
Just 2 miles west of the Atlantic Oceanfront in nearly the exact center of South Florida’s Boynton Beach, Heart of Boynton is aptly named. And it's the neighborhood's location that makes it so popular. Realtor Cathy Casella, with Brown Harris Stevens, says that prices here are also a large part of the appeal, noting that listings tend to be lower than the county's median. Jairo Gonzalez, a rental property manager with Casa Miami Realty who handles several properties in the neighborhood, agrees. “Heart of Boynton is very appealing to investors, especially those looking for renters, but also those looking to flip properties. The homes here are priced competitively compared to the surrounding communities.”

The neighborhood has everything from Spanish-inspired ranch-style duplexes and single-family homes to pastel stucco-clad condos with arcade-style walkways and boxy two-story apartment buildings. Palm trees tower over the low-profile homes, many of which are surrounded by low chain-link fencing and narrow, but lush lawns. Prices in Heart of Boynton start at around $280,000 and climb to $650,000, a spectrum that on the low end falls below the median for Boynton Beach and on the high end soars above. “It’s possible to find a gem of a deal here, whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or a veteran investor,” says Gonzalez.
