Outdoor activities are a central part of life in Bozeman. The Gallagator Linear Trail runs on the western border of the neighborhood, while the Bozeman Trail borders the east side. Both are popular for mountain biking and trail running. Langohr Park, located west of the neighborhood, is best known for its climbing boulder. The park also has a garden area with plots of colorful flowers for people to enjoy. Christie Fields, also located in the neighborhood, is a hub for youth baseball, and all three diamonds are often packed during the season. Peets Hill/Burke Park in the northern end of the neighborhood offers more hiking trails along with hills for sledding in the winter. For more outdoor adventures, people drive to natural areas like Fair Lake, which is about 30 miles away. Aside from the clear blue water of the lake, there is a hiking trail that summits Sacagawea Peak, which has about 2,000 feet of elevation gain from the trailhead.

A mile and a half from Downtown Bozeman
Bozeman Creek is close to a few local businesses and about half a mile from busy downtown Bozeman. Café M is a quiet spot for a morning cup of coffee, and Feat Raw Bar & Bistro is a favorite for oysters. Restaurants, shops and bars line Downtown Bozeman’s West Main Street. Jam! is one of the city’s most popular breakfast locations, and often has a 15-20 minute wait in the morning and stays busy through brunch. Athleta and Meridian are go-to's for athletic wear and women’s clothing, while Schnee’s offers outdoor apparel. Copper Whisky Bar and Plonk fill up as the sun goes down, as two of the most popular places to get a drink on date night. For groceries, most head to the Bozeman Co-Op.
