Forested peninsula extending north to Dyes Inlet
Located between Kitsap Lake and Evergreen Rotary Park, Marine Drive has numerous outdoor recreation possibilities in the surrounding water and green spaces, like at Dyes Inlet and both Ostrich Bay and Oyster Bay. Despite the neighborhood’s secluded feel among mature cedars and spruces, it remains close to downtown Bremerton, and is just 3 miles from the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, one of the area’s largest Naval employers.

Green spaces from Ostrich Bay to Evergreen Rotary
Divided by Highway 3 to the west, N.A.D. Park’s wooded spaces have over 2 miles of dirt trails, including N.A.D. Marine Park’s footpath which runs along Oyster Bay’s shoreline. “The park has to do with the Navy, so there’s a big fighter jet that’s blocked off there in the park, and that’s cool to see when you drive up,” says Valerie Grindley, a broker with Better Properties Real Estate, who has over 6 years of experience. The park’s 50 acres also includes a disc golf course.
Four miles east, boaters can pull up to slips at Evergreen Rotary Park’s 10-acre, waterfront green space. There is also a volleyball court and playground with a geometric climbing structure. The Bremerton Farmers Market is held in the park each Thursday from May to October and includes live music and artisan crafts.

These homes are positioned closer together, with mailboxes grouped at the ends of driveways. Waterfront properties include colorful Craftsman homes that are priced from $825,000 to $1.4 million.
