Subdivisions and preserved land on Brockton's west side
Located on Brockton's western side and south of Boston, Winters Corner is a suburban neighborhood off Massachusetts Route 24. The origins of the neighborhood's name aren't widely known, but locals recognize Winters Corner as a cozy suburban enclave with familiar housing styles and stretches of preserved natural land. "Winters Corner is an old-school name people used to use, but not so much anymore," says Jose E. Perez, team leader at JEP Realty with nearly 20 years of experience in Brockton. He says the community today is a popular commuter area. "The proximity isn't bad, and you're getting good value for your money compared to Boston," he says.

From hundred-year-old homes to new builds in subdivisions
Home styles in Winters Corner range from traditional single- and multi-family homes built in the 1920s to contemporary properties built in the 2020s. However, the majority of homes were built in the second half of the 20th century and include ranches and bilevels. Properties sit on spacious lots in subdivisions with wide streets dotted with trees. "It's nothing out of the ordinary. It has gotten some new development over the last couple of years," Perez says. The neighborhood's median home price is around $575,000. The commuter rail is more of a young professional crowd." Boston Logan International Airport is also about 25 miles north.
