People began putting down roots in Country Aire Estates in the late 1970s. As its popularity increased, housing demand grew, leading to a construction boom in the ’80s and early ’90s. Today, tidy ranch-style houses are typical in the eastern half of the neighborhood, giving way to two-story Craftsman-style builds on the western side. Many homes feature brick construction or accents and driveways and attached garages are standard features, minimizing the need for street parking. Country Aire Park occupies eight acres in the center of the subdivision. Peters Elementary from Pre-K to 5th
Peters Elementary School’s central location allows most neighborhood students to walk to class. Next, they’ll funnel into the Union Public School District’s 6th-7th and 8th Grade Centers before attending Union High School. All these schools have a Niche grade of B, except for the high school, which receives an A. Depending on their address, some kids might attend schools in the Broken Arrow district instead.
