Indian Springs Estate is located in South Broken Arrow.
Established Broken Arrow community on the Arkansas River
Indian Springs Estates might be known for its lavish homes and gated communities, but that isn’t all it offers. This Oklahoma neighborhood rolls along the banks of the Arkansas River in Broken Arrow, one of Tulsa’s largest suburbs. The Rose District's shops, museums and restaurants are just 15 minutes away, yet the abundance of green spaces and golfing opportunities make it feel like a resort town. Unlike many country-club-oriented communities, though, this one isn’t reserved exclusively for the rich. “It’s a mixture, and it’s nice in that it is a mixture. You can get in at a low-end price, or if you want luxury, there’s definitely luxury there,” says Ronda Butler, Realtor for Keller Williams Preferred.
The Lakes, the Oaks and Indian Springs
Indian Springs Estates is home to several HOA communities. Properties at the Lakes feature stylish landscaping and spacious yards, while the Oaks overlooks the river and golf course. Indian Springs I also offers fairway views and Indian Springs II is known for its dog-friendly vibe. Various architectural styles mark the landscape. Two-story capes and chalet-style cottages sit alongside single-story brick contemporary homes with steep gabled roof accents. The neighborhood’s walkability depends on the exact location. While it’s easy to stroll from house to house in the gated subdivisions, other residential streets lack sidewalks, and many people park on the street, making it even harder to stay out of traffic. A ranch-style house from the 1970s costs about $300,000, while larger contemporary builds sell for $550,000 to $750,000.

Ray Harral Nature Center
With its central location and 40 acres of recreational space, the Ray Harral Nature Park & Center is an oasis every Indian Springs Estates resident can enjoy. The Nature Center is the star of the show, featuring educational displays that teach visitors all about Oklahoma’s native wildlife. Three miles of trails meander through the woods, past pollinator gardens and over a suspension bridge. There’s even a natural spring nearby where families can fill their water jugs before settling in at one of the available picnic shelters. And the park is just one facet in the jewel of recreational opportunities awaiting residents of this community. Indian Springs Country Club offers its members a pair of 18-hole golf courses, tennis and pickleball courts, and a pool facility with enthralling slides and cabanas for relaxing. The onsite sports complexes are large enough to host baseball, softball or soccer tournaments, and anglers and boaters can start their river adventures at the Indian Springs access point near the country club.
Spring Creek Elementary school is located in Broken Arrow.
School days at Spring Creek Elementary
Kids who live in Indian Springs Estates attend a progression of schools, each of which earns a B or B-plus from Niche. Spring Creek Elementary School and Ernest Childers Middle School are right in the neighborhood, just north of Ray Harral Nature Park. Once they move on to Broken Arrow Freshman Academy and High School, students will have longer commutes — about 15 to 20 minutes each way. When combined with the Freshman Academy, Broken Arrow High School is Oklahoma’s largest post-secondary educational institution.
Russo's Italian restaurant is a go for for fresh food in Indian Springs Estate.
New York-style pizza from Russo’s
A brief ride up South Elm Place takes residents to the neighborhood’s smattering of shopping centers and ethnic eateries. Chavas Mexican plates up burritos, flautas and chimichangas in a colorful yet casual dining room. New York-style pizza spices up the menu at Russo’s Italian restaurant, and Chinese takeout is available at Kuai Zi next to the Walmart Supercenter. There’s also an Aldi across the street for basic groceries. On date nights, locals head to Regal Warren Broken Arrow on Aspen Creek Drive to take in the latest blockbuster.
Indian Springs Estate is a popular golf course.
Invitation to Indian Springs Country Club
Members of the Indian Springs Country Club should check the calendar regularly. A roster of social events at Rivermill Pub, Fazio Grill and the onsite banquet hall gives the club a festive atmosphere all year round. Examples include bingo nights, golf shop raffles and holiday brunches.
Tackling the Creek Turnpike
The Creek Turnpike, also known as State Highway 364, swings through the neighborhood before joining up with Route 64. From there, it takes about half an hour to get to Tulsa International Airport and Tulsa’s downtown districts. The ride to the central section of Broken Arrow takes around 15 minutes. Aside from the Broken Arrow Transit rideshare system, there aren’t any public transportation options in this part of town, so residents should plan on having their own cars.
