Oak Grove attracts homeowners with parks and proximity to the freeway
Tucked into Brooklyn Park's northwestern corner, Oak Grove is a quiet neighborhood with easy access to public parks and modern homes. Despite these advantages, some believe the area flies under the radar, creating a more private, relaxed environment than other communities. "It's a sneaky contender in the real estate market," says Jon Severson, a Realtor for Edina Realty. Proximity to the Twin Cities and dining also makes a difference with potential homeowners. "The neighborhood has great access to the freeway, lots of food options and you're close to parks and other conveniences," says John Rockwell, a Realtor for Re/Max Synergy.
