Pinebrook Village is centered on a neighborhood park
A centrally located park sits in the heart of Pinebrook Village, a neighborhood in the suburb of Brooklyn Park. Minnesota Highway 610 forms the neighborhood’s southern border, giving residents quick access to the Twin Cities, about 10 miles away. “The logistics are great,” says Paul Ekstrom, broker and owner of Realty One Group. “Using 610, you’re in downtown Minneapolis in under 15 minutes, and if somebody is working in St. Paul, they’re probably about 30 minutes away.”
Nestled on the west bank of the Mississippi River, Brooklyn Park is a peaceful and quiet community.
Townhomes can be found throughout Pinebrook Village.

Contemporary two-story homes on quarter-acre lots
Single-family homes make up the bulk of the property mix in Pinebrook Village, but a collection of townhomes sit in the northwestern corner of the neighborhood. Most houses were built in the early 2000s on lots measuring at least a quarter acre. Small retention ponds are scattered throughout the area. “When the water drains off the streets, it goes into retention ponds,” explains Ekstrom, who’s been selling homes in the region since 2006. “In the springtime, a lot of those will dry up, but they create a buffer for the homeowners so they’re not looking in the back windows of the home directly behind them.” Home sales are infrequent in this neighborhood, and properties tend to sell after 25 days on the market, nearly half the national average. Recent sales included townhomes that sold for $275,000 to $325,000 and contemporary homes that fetched $450,000 to $550,000. Pinebrook Village has a CAP Index Crime Score of 1, the lowest possible score. The risk of hail is relatively high, so buyers should look for homes with garages to help protect against vehicle damage.
