Shingle Creek is a melting pot of Candlewood and Hartkopf
Shingle Creek is a suburban neighborhood in southwestern Brooklyn Park. Tucked between the communities of Candlewood and Hartkopf, it shares a tendency toward a more youthful crowd. “You get a melting pot of those areas,” says Re/Max Advantage Plus associate Chris Yarbro. “There are a lot of younger professionals and new families out there.” Featuring its namesake creek and a handful of ponds, Shingle Creek offers some natural beauty in addition to its well-maintained midcentury homes. Its central location also provides a straightforward route for Twin Cities commuters.
