Crofton Park offers peaceful vibes and outdoor appeal
In addition to its namesake green space, Crofton Park evokes all the serenity of a recreational hub. The Broomfield community has wide sidewalks, charming streetlights and lush green lawns. “It’s the perfect place for anyone who wants a traditional, suburban neighborhood,” says Claire Gilmore, the owner-broker of Houses by Claire Gilmore and a Broomfield resident. “It’s incredibly quiet because it's entirely residential. You’ll always see someone out jogging or walking their dog.”

Early 2000s pastel-colored homes with low maintenance
Crofton Park’s cul-de-sacs are brimming with dwellings built throughout the early 2000s. “The houses are low maintenance, and that’s a big reason why people move here,” says Gilmore. “They’re well-built, and the yards are small enough to be manageable.” Homes are most commonly two-to-three-bedroom New Traditional Craftsman styles. In the neighborhood's western region, you’ll also see a few pastel-painted town houses with the same architecture. No matter the layout, a home in Crofton Park typically has a two-car garage, a small back patio and a white picket fence. They also cost between $500,000 and $600,000, a range similar to a Broomfield home’s average $600,000 selling price.
