There aren't many attractions in the village itself, but it is conveniently located with respect to major roadways. The neighborhood has decent bus access, with stops for the Quad Cities MetroLINK on U.S. Route 84, which runs directly through the neighborhood. It's also easy to hop on U.S. Routes 5 and 92 via an exit just outside the neighborhood, making it simple to get into Moline and its attractions and amenities, like the Quad Cities International Airport.

Carbon Cliff Park is the place to be on a sunny afternoon. It's got a baseball field, playground and a small pond to enjoy. The park is all green fields and offers the community a place for recreation that is minutes from most front doors in the area. Mansur Woods is another park in the neighborhood, and while it's a simple pair of fields near an apartment complex, it's ideal for residents to go and throw a frisbee around.

The area's youngest learners start their educational journey at Eagle Ridge Elementary, which has a C-plus rating on Niche and continue at C-rated Glenview Middle School. Students finish their secondary academic journey at United Township High School, which has a B rating and is particularly known for its sports teams. It's common to see the community come out on game night to support the team.
