Sandwiched between Carrollton's Koreatown and Historic Downtown, Trinity Mills is a culturally diverse suburb near upscale restaurants, local coffee shops and international markets. The community is centrally located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, so residents enjoy many well-known Texas attractions and amenities across several large cities. "It's relatively close to downtown Dallas, but yet it's central enough you can get almost anywhere within a short amount of time," says Joyce Bauert, a Realtor with Keller Williams. "It's close to freeways in all directions and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport." Shopping and upscale dining are just north in Legacy and Frisco, and Lewisville and Grapevine Lakes are only 16 miles away. A mosaic of international foods, Asian restaurants, markets, and bakeries are the main focal points. Dining hotspots include Kura Revolving Sushi Bar – a conveyor belt sushi joint – and 85°C Bakery Café, a Taiwanese bakery chain serving mango boba, egg tarts and international pastries. Trinity Mills is up-and-coming with the construction of Trinity Mills Station
A catalog of architectural styles exists around Trinity Mills and the rest of Carrollton. "It has a variety of housing from condos to zero-lot lines, townhouses and single-family," Bauert says. Modern, elegant townhouses, duplexes and condos, such as those in the Trinity Meadows subdivision, are common throughout the city and are usually more affordable than single-family homes. The price range for a two-bedroom condo, duplex or townhome starts at $185,000 and can reach roughly $300,000. Single-family houses are typically either brick ranch-style houses or minimal traditional homes with brick exteriors. The houses are close together. Most streets feature plenty of shade trees, and sidewalks make the quiet neighborhoods easily walkable. Older ranch-style houses can be found for as low as $350,000, but homebuyers should expect to pay upwards of $600,000 for the newer, larger homes, which frequently have four or five bedrooms. Trinity Mills also has a growing number of luxury apartments closer to the restaurants and shops in Koreatown.
