Finding a home with some land in Carson City
“There are two areas of Carson where you can buy a home with land, and Arrow Head-North Carson is one,” says Garrett Lepire, Realtor with Re/Max Gold, who was born and raised in Carson City. “When I have someone who calls me and says, ‘I want some land,’ we look there.” The average lot size is around an acre, which gives homeowners a sense of privacy, as well as space to store large vehicles, build outbuildings or, in some cases, even keep horses. The majority of homes were custom built in the late 1900s, but there are also some newer developments in the southern part of the area.
Houses with less than an acre of land typically sell from the upper $300,000s to the mid $600,000s, while those with an acre or more may range from the low $500,000s to the upper $900,000s.
