McAlpine Creek marks the northern boundary of the neighborhood, linking up with the Campbell Creek Greenway, which ushers residents a mile south to the sprawling McAlpine Creek Park. Homes range from established Colonial Revival and ranch-style dwellings from the 1980s and ‘90s to New Traditional builds constructed during the last 20 years. Streets tend to be wide enough to fit parked cars on both sides, and well-maintained sidewalks are typical of the neighborhood. Mature trees tower over homes and provide plenty of shade during the warmer months. This neighborhood gives residents plenty of elbow room, with lots usually falling between 5,000 square feet and half an acre. Detached homes tend to start around $315,000, though homes in need of a little love can go as low as $250,000. $425,000 is about as high as prices go. Two-and-three-bedroom townhouses also appear on the market for between $250,000 and $325,000.
