Epi-center of shopping and dining
Once acres of rolling farmland, East Brainerd is now a thriving hub for shopping and dining. "I would call it a shopper's paradise," says longtime resident and Realtor/broker Grace Frank with Chattanooga Real Estate Group. "It has everything, including the only local Trader Joe's." This retail mecca is known for regional and national chain stores with few small businesses. "East Brainerd comprises over 30 neighborhoods; some older with large lots, some newer with smaller lots. There's also a lot of new construction," Frank says. "The area is very diverse, and homes move pretty quickly here." Here, houses with manicured lawns sit on wide streets with sidewalks.
