"I would call it a shopper's paradise," says longtime resident and Realtor/broker Grace Frank with Chattanooga Real Estate Group. "It has everything, including the only local Trader Joe's." This retail mecca is known for regional and national chain stores with few small businesses. "East Brainerd comprises over 30 neighborhoods; some older with large lots, some newer with smaller lots. Next to Heritage Park is East Brainerd Shopping Center, which has a Food City as its anchor. Hamilton Place is a 5-mile drive via back streets and features anchor stores like Belk, Dillard's and JCPenney.
