Chelsea Public Schools serve Mill Hill students from K-12

Mill Hill students are zoned for Chelsea Public Schools. Within the neighborhood is the Mary C. Burke Complex, an academic campus that houses all four of the district’s elementary schools: Berkowitz Elementary, Hooks Elementary, Kelly Elementary and Sokolowski Elementary. These elementary schools serve grades one through four. Grades five through eight can attend Browne Middle School, Clark Avenue Middle School or the Wright Science and Technology Academy. Chelsea High School serves ninth through 12th grade and offers an Early College Program in partnership with Bunker Hill Community College. Secondary students can also participate in an enrollment lottery for Phoenix Charter Academy Chelsea.

Mill Hill is heavily residential with very few commercial amenities. Aside from a bar called El Xielo and a small convenience store call La Mesa Market, all other shopping and dining options are located outside the neighborhood. Less than half a mile away is Parkway Plaza, a shopping center with national retailers like Home Depot, Burlington and Dollar Tree, as well as several restaurant chains. The closest supermarket is Market Basket, located at Mystic Mall, approximately 2 miles from the neighborhood. The mall is also home to T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods department store, as well as El Potro Mexican Grill, a popular local eatery with outdoor patio seating.
