Calusa is located in Hillsborough County, west of Lutz and east of Keystone. Major throughways include Florida State Road 597, or Dale Mabry Highway, and State Road 589, also known as Suncoast Parkway. St. Joseph’s Hospital is situated less than 1 mile outside of the neighborhood. Tampa and the nearest international airport are roughly 17 miles south of Calusa.
