A community focused neighborhood with investment opportunities
Sitting just north of Little Camulet River and directly east of Interstate 57 is the community of West Pullman. Reflected in its architecture, the neighborhood has a long history and, at one time, was one of the most significant industrial communities in Illinois. However, its residential landscape looks different than that of the past. This is thanks to residents and local organizations that continue to improve the neighborhood through a state-of-the-art community center, homes improvements and neighborhood gatherings. “Community is a big part of the neighborhood,” says Leon Ivy, managing broker at Manage Chicago Inc., who has over 11 years of experience in the south Chicago region. “It has a good family-oriented vibe.”

Many homes in the community are being sold to those looking to renovate, providing homebuyers with a wide price range, with free-standing homes starting at $75,000 to $300,000, depending on size and condition. The safety in this area is great in my opinion. I've never felt that I was in any danger in my area. If there is any crime that occurs, the police quickly responds without a doubt. I have no concerns.
