Hiding behind century-old Italianate exteriors, homebuyers will find many luxury condos that include chic interiors with spacious floorplans. Condos have sold for between $220,000 and $950,000. Residents can catch the city’s best smells at Lytle Park. Displaying a floral panorama, visitors will find colorful plants in bloom every season, such as tulips in the spring and chrysanthemums in the fall. While there, visitors can check out the 11-foot-tall bronze statue of President Lincoln. Students attend Cincinnati Public Schools

Although no public schools exist in City Center, the area is zoned for the Cincinnati Public School District. The fastest-growing district in the state, it offers a citywide magnet school program that lets parents choose their child’s educational institution. Students may start at Hays-Porter School, a Pre-K through sixth-grade institution that earned a C grade from Niche. From there, students may move on to Robert A. Taft Information Technology High School, which earned a C-minus grade from Niche. Robert A. Taft is known for its impressive athletics, including its basketball team, which has won two Ohio High School Athletic Association State Championships over the past 15 years. As for private school options, residents can send their children to nearby Aldersgate Christian Academy, which serves kindergarten through 12th grade and earned a B grade from Niche.

Cincinnati’s art, history and culture options

Residents can explore the city’s art and culture scene. The Taft Theatre is a nearly century-old performance art center that hosts Broadway shows, concerts and special events. From Italian at Sotto to tacos outside at Nada

For luxury dining and authentic Italian pasta, residents can head to Sotto, a basement restaurant surrounded by exposed brick and fine wines. “You can’t go wrong with Sotto,” Shetterly says. “It’s to die for. You have to get the beignets for dessert.” Customers at Nada can take their dinner outside. Nada is a Mexican restaurant known for its elaborate tacos, including ingredients like grilled mahi and pork belly. After dinner, some head over to The View at Shires’ Garden, a rooftop bar with a wide selection of craft beers and wine. For groceries, residents can stop by Kroger off Walnut Street.

Paycor Stadium and Great American Ballpark
