The Breakfast Nook is a favorite for early morning pancakes, and Daft Badger Brewing is a go-to for a weekend brewery visit. The Spokane River is about a mile southwest of the neighborhood, providing more access to water recreation. The North Idaho Centennial Trail runs between the River and the neighborhood for long hikes around Coeur d'Alene. Winton Park, located inside the neighborhood, is a place to relax on a warm day.
