Mature trees and major highways in Ramsey-Woodland
Peaceful neighborhood settings and convenient access to nearby businesses have led to Ramsey-Woodland becoming one of the largest communities in Coeur d’Alene. “It’s an established neighborhood that’s been around a while. It’s got lots of tall trees, and it’s pretty close to the highway,” says Debbie Taylor, a Realtor with The Agency Coeur d’Alene, who has sold multiple homes in the neighborhood. “It’s easy to get to Spokane or Coeur d’Alene. There’s a golf course in there, too, so that brings some elevation to the community.” Ramsey-Woodland is northwest of the intersection of Interstate 90 and U.S. Route 95, making it convenient for commuting, shopping and dining. The mature trees and nearby parks allow residents to feel like they’ve escaped into the North Idaho wilderness without leaving the city.

Established and modern homes in suburban Coeur d'Alene
Buyers have plenty of options for homes in Ramsey-Woodland. The southern half of the community south of Hanley Road is more established and has many homes from the 1980s and 90s. Most are ranch-style houses or raised ranches on large, tree-covered lots. “The larger lots and room to spread out is a big draw. They’re able to have a shop or a place for toys. The tall trees are a really nice feature, too,” says Taylor. There are also many manufactured homes in the Oak Crest community off Ramsey Road. Buyers can find 21st-century homes north of Hanley Road, including contemporary Craftsmans with stone and wood accents on the exterior. The lots here tend to be smaller but still have plenty of leafy trees and tall pines towering over the neighborhood. Manufactured houses in Ramsey-Woodland typically cost between $60,000 and $250,000. Single-family houses cost between $450,000 and $900,00.
