Aggies grow roots in Raintree
Aggieland's established neighborhoods are mostly signified by towering mature trees, and the Raintree subdivision is a prime example of that. The residential neighborhood provides great convenience to many of College Station's best amenities and is a short drive from Bryan, its sister city. “Raintree is an older neighborhood, but it’s a really nice one,” says Amy Melesky, a Realtor with Coldwell Bankers Apex and a lifelong resident of Bryan-College Station. “It’s a nice area and a nice location. The homeowners in there keep up their properties well.”

Raintree has well-maintained traditional homes
Traditional homes built in the 1980s file along Raintree's residential roads, many of which end in cul-de-sacs away from main thoroughfares. House prices in the neighborhood are pretty consistent with homes in neighboring communities, typically between $250,000 and $350,000. There are also some rental properties in the community, but the majority of homes are owner-occupied. “There’s a lot of families there, and they tend to stay for a long time,” Melesky says, adding that the active HOA, which is about $18 a month, takes care of neighborhood upkeep.
