Life in Banning Lewis Ranch may make residents forget that they’re 15 miles east of Colorado Springs because this master-planned community feels like its own city. The area has an abundance of amenities, from outdoor parks, trails and indoor fitness spaces to its own public charter schools for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade. Getting to work and grocery shopping are often residents’ only reasons to leave their Ranch. “There’s no commercial development within the neighborhood,” says Casey Fortune, Broker and Owner of Colorado Springs Real Estate with Fortune Realty with more than a decade of experience in the area. “But the community is structured in a way that residents can stay local to go enjoy the many parks and weekend events.”
