This district has an open enrollment policy, so public school students are not restricted to any particular pipeline, pending a student application and school availability. “It’s not a huge pro, but not a con either,” Wade says regarding open enrollment. “It’s nice. It’s a benefit to not be locked into something.” Several private Christian schools nearby serve kindergarten through 12th grade: Colorado Springs Christian School is rated B, and Pikes Peak Christian School is rated B-plus.
