A charming community feel north of Colorado Springs
Situated 13 miles north of Colorado Springs, Wolf Ranch is a master-planned community with spacious new constructions and modern amenities like multiple parks, hiking trails and the scenic and serene Wolf Lake. Though Wolf Ranch lies within Colorado Springs city limits, residents often feel like their neighborhood is its own little city, with a community feel and the comfort of having everything they need in the vicinity. “Wolf Ranch definitely has the ‘everybody knows everybody’ vibe,” says Realtor Melanie Weseman of Citadel Realty LLC. “All the homes are in their own little cul-de-sacs, creating little communities within the larger neighborhood. Every year, Wolf Ranch is named one of the best neighborhoods in the state.”
New constructions in sidewalk suburbs
The curving streets of Wolf Ranch are lined with tidy, paved sidewalks. New constructions with ranch and modern farmhouse elements are perched close to each other on lots that average a quarter acre and boast short, paved driveways leading to attached garages. These homes have shallow front lawns with simple, elegant landscaping. “The houses are also built on clearer, elevated terrain, so there’s nothing blocking your beautiful view of the mountains,” says Weseman. Prices start at around $400,000 and go up to roughly $1 million.

Parks, outdoor events and hiking in Black Forest
Green space is abundant in Wolf Ranch, with more than seven miles of trails and almost 400 acres of parks scattered throughout the neighborhood. Locals can bring blankets and chairs to Gateway Park, where seasonal events like a summer concert series, fall festival and Food Truck Fridays are hosted. The handful of neighborhood pocket packs all feature playgrounds, so little ones are never far from a place to play. At Wolf Ranch Recreation Center, residents have their pick of cooling off in the indoor pool, outdoor pool or splash pad. Dogs also have their own slice of paradise at the dog park across from the recreation center. Pups can crawl through tunnels, jump through hoops and climb across balance beams as they compete for treats and make new furry friends. For an outdoor adventure, locals can hop in the car and drive 5 miles north to the expansive 385-acre Black Forest Regional Park, where they can hike to their heart’s desire.

Locals can walk around the area and travel by car to get downtown
The Wolf Ranch neighborhood is highly walkable, and the neighborhood’s abundant sidewalks extend outward and connect to the shops and retail on Powers Boulevard.
