Homeowners and renters can find plenty of condos downtown
Housing in the Arena District is exclusively condos and apartments. You can find a mix of modern complexes and early-1900s factory buildings. “Most of the condos have parking,” says Realtor Brandon Prewitt with Re/Max Metro Plus, who has over 20 years of experience in the city. Other common amenities include fitness centers and on-site maintenance. One- to two-bedroom units can cost between the mid-$100,000s and the mid-$400,000s. Over 75% of the residents are renters.

You can walk to work, but need a vehicle to run errands
Living in the Arena District means you can get to work, restaurants and events on foot. Even though the neighborhood is very walkable, Prewitt says, “You still need a car to get to grocery stores and all those places.” Big-box stores and groceries are about 2 miles, or 10 minutes, away in the University District. Public transportation is also available, with the Central Ohio Transit Authority offering bus stops throughout downtown.
Most parking is available in garages and public lots. “Parking is typically a hot commodity in that community, and they charge a premium for it,” Prewitt says. “If you don’t have a parking space, you can attempt to buy one or lease one.”
