Teens often move on to Mifflin High School, which has a 72% graduation rate and a C-minus Niche rating. There are two charter schools on the neighborhood's southwest corner: Horizon Science Academy Columbus Elementary School and Horizon Science Academy Primary School. The former has a C-minus Niche rating and serves grades three through five, and the latter offers kindergarten through second grade instruction. The charter schools are non-selective and tuition-free. They offer STEM-focused college preparatory curriculums.Entertainment near Parkview and in the downtown
Easton Town Center has an AMC theatre and a Legoland Discovery Centre, which features Lego models that families can explore together. College football fans watch the Buckeyes face off against Big Ten Conference rivals at Ohio Stadium, 16-½ miles southwest via interstates 270 and 315. People head downtown to visit the Columbus Museum of Art or to watch musical acts like Weezer and Jhené Aiko at Nationwide Arena.Getting around Columbus
Downtown Columbus is 13 miles southwest via Interstate 670. Public bus stops are on Morse Road and Westerville Road, and sidewalks line the neighborhood's streets. John Glenn Columbus International Airport is about 8 miles south via Interstate 270. Casa Hacienda Y Taqueria on Morse Road serves authentic Mexican dishes. People order specialized cupcakes at Bakes by Rach on the neighborhood's western border. A cluster of restaurants is a half mile east of Parkview. Safina World serves African dishes, and Golden Pheonix prepares Chinese cuisine. Global Mall, about a mile west of Parkview, has an Aldi. South of Morse Road, folks can also buy cooking ingredients at La Mega Michoacana Mexican Market. Easton Town Center, about a mile southeast of Parkview, is one of the largest shopping malls in Columbus. It has restaurants like the Cheesecake Factory and Another Broken Egg Café, a casual brunch spot. The mall includes retailers such as Michaels, Target, Staples, Nordstrom and Macy's. "Families end up going [to the mall] because there are many restaurants and a small park with benches and fountains the kids can run through," says Realtor Andy Whiteman, who sells houses in the area with RE/MAX Achievers. "There are also well-known companies nearby, like Abbot Laboratories." Along the community's southern edge are several car dealerships, an auto parts store and an auto repair shop. There is also a Goodwill.
