GreatSchools: The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process. I love the country life and commerce offers it all from famers markets to dessert shops. The only thing I would change if I could would be to bring back more mom and pop type stores. To add to the southern charm this city had to offer. While there is not a night life for young adults and teenagers it tends to make up for it with all the different weekend activities. While I love this city year around they always do it up for the holidays and make everything feel so homey and comfortable. It's just an overall great place to live and raise your family.

Small town, good places to eat. Pretty safe area. There a lot of nice neighborhoods to live and apartment complexes as well. About 20 minutes from Athens, Ga where the University of Ga is located.
