Since this community mainly has private and gated communities, most residents have access to exclusive amenities like clubhouses with fitness centers and swimming pools. Shopping and dining options are limited in Coral Creek proper, but tucked in the back of Coral Creek Plaza, the community’s only shopping center, is Rock ‘n Roll Ribs. It’s known for its fall-off-the-bone ribs and flavor-packed pulled-pork sandwiches. Many flock here to sneak a peek at Nick McBrian, who is on-site from time to time. There are plenty of other restaurants just outside the neighborhood, including La Marsa Coral Springs, a relatively new spot serving Mediterranean fare, and Wings Plus, a community mainstay serving what Realtor Daniel Bozza at Atlantic Realty Group called “The best wings in South Florida.” He’s been selling in the area for a year. Two major thoroughfares border Coral Creek, U.S. Route 441 and Sawgrass Expressway. The expressway is a toll road and busy commuter highway that leads to Fort Lauderdale, about 23 miles away. Public transit is relatively accessible, with three Public Broward County Transit bus stops sitting along Route 441.
