Space, affordability and convenience 3 miles from Downtown Crystal River
Three miles east of Downtown Crystal River is Mayfair Garden Acres, a neighborhood known for its space and modest prices. “It’s a rural area where you can live on a half-acre,” says Nadeene Horak, a Realtor with Sail Home Realty. “It’s much more affordable there. The closer you are to the water, the higher the prices are.” The neighborhood, which has manufactured and ranch-style homes, doesn’t come with restrictions like nearby neighborhoods. “It’s popular for those who want no deed restrictions and for those who want a little bit of land,” Horak says. The neighborhood is bordered to the north by Florida State Road 44, which conveniently runs from Crystal River to New Smyrna Beach on the Atlantic Ocean side of Florida. “It’s very easy to commute from there,” says Thao Le, a Realtor with Century 21 J.W. Morton Real Estate.
