Marsalis Elementary School sits within the neighborhood with Boude Storey Middle and South Oak Cliff High School less than 2 miles away. Ranch-style homes with lower prices in the DFW area

Glenview's modest ranch-styles sit with larger yards shaded by oaks and elms. Many homes were built between the 1940s and 1970s, and often have attached garages. "Buyers see a lot of opportunity with this location," McGraw says. Pricewise, homes in Glenview are lower than the average of the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and the national average. Prices can range from $169,000 for one in need of interior work to $329,000 for one that was recently remodeled. "The type of buyer depends on the condition of the home,” says McGraw. “We see a lot of investors here.” There are also some mid-century modern and contemporary homes scattered in Glenview. Prices range from $230,000 to about $285,000. The neighborhood doesn’t have sidewalks, and some homes sit closer to the road with small landscaping done.
