Order their Fresas con Crema, translated to strawberries and cream, which is a popular Mexican dessert that is freshly sliced strawberries mixed with sweetened cream sauce. Formosa Express is a popular Chinese restaurant. Order one of their fried rice combos. For groceries, residents can head to Fiesta Mart, which is located on South Buckner Boulevard, which is minutes away from Peacock Terrace.
Cotton Bowl Stadium is only seven minutes away from Peacock Terrace. The 91,000-seat stadium is a historic landmark, famous for the annual Red River Showdown football game that pits the University of Texas against their rivals, the University of Oklahoma. While living in Peacock Terrace, a Texas tradition is just around the corner.
