Tuscany Woods

Races at the Daytona International Speedway
Tuscany Woods is 6 miles from the Daytona Beach Boardwalk, which comes alive with an array of amusement rides, waterfront shops and restaurants. On sunny days, residents indulge in surfing, lounging on the sand or swimming. The same distance is Daytona International Speedway, which draws crowds for events such as the Daytona 500 season kick-off. "The speedway is huge here. Everyone is going to see a race with their families," says Lancelot Lenard, a Broker Associate at Florida Homes Realty & Mortgage.

Palm trees hover over the private community pool at Tuscany Woods, located adjacent to the clubhouse and playground. Nearby, Robert Strickland Park on Strickland Range Road spans 35 acres, featuring two baseball fields and a BMX track, hosting weekly races. The Hope Place Public Library, situated at the corner of Wright Street, has a small blue and yellow playground. The library is a community hub, offering an All Together Now reading challenge, Culinary Lab workshops and weekly storytelling events. Within a 5-mile radius lies the Volusia Sports Center, the semi-public Riviera Country Club and Central Park, with several lakes popular for boating and fishing. Surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of Daytona, Tuscany Woods offers primarily residential living within a quick drive to shopping and dining options. The nearest grocery stores include Walmart Neighborhood Market on North Nova Boulevard and Love Whole Foods Cafe & Market on Williamson Boulevard, a locally owned market since 1991 known for its organic produce and food bar. Nearby, Agave 1 Fresh Mex has patio-side dining and Green Turtle Kava Bar, a local hotspot for unwinding with tea. For a more upscale dining experience, residents can visit Stonewood Grill & Tavern, known for its hearty steaks. "It's pretty close to the Outlets, which is pretty busy with people shopping," says Lenard. The central shopping hub in the city is the Tanger Outlets, just 3 miles south of the neighborhood, an open-air district offering big-name retailers like Polo Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger.Small community of 200 homes
Tuscany Woods is a small community of 200 homes built between 2007 and 2017 and is conveniently close to Daytona's most popular attractions. Most homes are situated along Tuscany Chase Drive, encircling a small lake with a fountain. "People here like when they have amenities right in the neighborhood. Plus, with the beach so close, it's the best of both worlds," says Lenard. While some residences offer scenic views of the water from their backyards, others are back against dense woodlands. Leafy palm trees adorn the fronts of Craftsman bungalows and Mediterranean-style semi-custom designs, typically between 1,600 and 3,200 square feet. These homes feature neutral hues, soft tan and beige stucco exteriors and double-car garages. Residents enjoy easy access to the neighborhood recreation center, overseen by a homeowner's association (HOA), collecting a quarterly fee. Home prices vary, ranging from $325,000 for a three-bedroom to $425,000 for a four-bedroom residence. The area has a CAP Index Crime Score of 6 out of 10, slightly higher than the national average.
