A rural community on the edge of Decatur's city life
The Flint City neighborhood sits on the outskirts of Decatur. It is surrounded by woods, giving the community a feeling of seclusion, as though it was far from an urban center. In reality, the neighborhood is close to some of Decatur’s well-regarded restaurants and shopping centers. “You don’t have all the things that come with the city, but you are 5-10 minutes from everything,” says Regina Corbitt, a Realtor with Linda Blue Real Estate. “There are new constructions, and it’s not that pricey.”
