Live music at the Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater
The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater has hosted everyone from Postmodern Jukebox to REO Speedwagon. Set on the western coast of Lake Decatur, this outdoor amphitheater also offers Movies Under the Stars, a movie series that includes free family-friendly flicks all summer.

Direct flights to Chicago
Illinois Route 105 offers a direct route into the heart of Decatur, some 5 miles west. The Decatur Airport is directly south of the neighborhood and provides direct flights to Chicago. Sidewalks in the area are rare, making a car necessary for work and chores. People who are fond of public transportation can use the Decatur Public Transit System’s bus line, which covers the entire city and has stops on Airport Road.
