Vibrant and active community culture
The gated community of Gleneagles, tucked away on the west side of Delray Beach, celebrated 40 years in 2024 with events multiple times a week. But then that kind of activity is not out of the ordinary for a neighborhood that routinely hosts a wide array of events, like live music at the veranda, trivia nights, educational lectures, dance parties, and more. “The overall vibe is like summer camp for adults. You have fun, you enjoy yourself, and it’s country club living, but it’s very compact,” says Phil Metzler, broker/associate at Lang Realty. “If you want to do something, there’s probably a club where there’s other people who want to do it too.”
Gleneagles is a vibrant and very secure neighborhood to live in.
Delray Marketplace provides great entertainment options to the Gleneagles residents.

Various condo options
There are three distinct housing options here, most of them built in the 1980s: single-family homes, garden condos and midrise condos. Each residential building follows a Mediterranean-influenced design with light-colored stucco walls and red and brown tile roofs. The detached homes are generally ranch and two-story, with wide brick driveway and screened lanais. The lots tend to be compact but have enough space for two-car garages and more than 1,800 square feet of living space. Garden residences have modern architectural elements and screened porches. The midrise buildings feature spacious terraces and surface lot parking. Single-family houses don’t come on the market often, but they’ve recently sold for between $510,000 and $600,000. Condos sell for between $130,000 and $625,000. Monthly HOA fees range from $285 to $650.
