A gated community on Millionaire’s Row
Newport Bay Club is in the heart of Millionaire’s Row, an affluent strip of gated communities just north of Boca Raton. This area merges suburban and country club-style living with ample amenities and strong local public schools. “It’s a family-oriented community with great schools that are all A-rated,” says longtime resident Lucille Gioia. “We moved here 25 years ago for our sons. They were small then but already little tennis players. We have wonderful facilities for grownups and for kids. You’ll see the pickleball and tennis courts and a big heated pool by the clubhouse.” With no mandatory country club membership and a close-knit, family-oriented atmosphere, Newport Bay Club stands out from surrounding country club- and resort-style subdivisions.

Lakeside Spanish Revivals with backyard pools
Newport Bay Club was primarily developed in the 1990s when the Spanish Revival style was popular in sunny South Florida. The neighborhood’s one- and two-story houses feature earthy stucco exteriors, terracotta barrel roof tiles and elegant arches. Prices range from $800,000 to $1.6 million, but with only seven homes sold in the past year, sales data in Newport Bay Club is limited. Homeowners tend to hold on to their properties, many of which are pool homes set on lakeside lots of up to a quarter-acre. The community is made up of four subdivisions: The Tides, Hampton Club, Copper Lake and The Estates. In addition to the master association, each subdivision is managed by its respective homeowners association, except for The Estates. Homeowners in The Estates maintain their own properties.
