Belleview Acres exhibits suburban comfort and convenience
Just before encountering the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains, headed west, Belleview Acres greets visitors in eastern Colorado. Strolling along the tree-lined streets, if they’re elevated enough, one might be able to catch a glimpse of the Denver skyline in the distance. “It’s like a bedroom community in Littleton,” says Yan Kaminsky, owner and managing broker of Landmark Residential Broker. “You’re close to Chatfield, you’re close to Red Rocks. You've got highly-acclaimed school districts, you’ve got great eating, you’ve got great shopping nearby. Ken Caryl Ranch is right down the street, there’s got access to the 470 which gives you access to the airport and mountains. You’re literally probably 15 minutes away from Red Rocks, if that.”

High rated public schools in Jefferson County
Students can attend Red Rocks Elementary School, which scores an A-minus with Niche and is aptly named due to its proximity to the historic park near the Front Range. Summit Ridge Middle School and Bear Creek High School also serve the student population in the area, both rated at a B-plus with Niche. Bear Creek High also offers numerous clubs for its students, including a poetry club, tabletop gaming club and a Winter Guard organization.
Denver's neighborhood parks and natural recreation
If you’re looking to get outdoors, hop on the playground at Belleview Acres Park and then take a break by sitting under its Victorian shade. The trail in the park also features a view of the Rocky Mountains. Roam free at Bobby Hyatt Jr. Memorial Park, which is largely undeveloped but has plenty of open space as well as a pair of benches and a bench swing. Belleview Acres and Farms also lies right alongside the Bergen Reservoirs, which are lined by trails perfect for a midday walk. Bergen East Reservoir is slightly larger than its western counterpart, with a small divide in between the two bodies of water.
“Out there in the western part of town, if you’re a hiker or road biker, anything outdoors is freaking awesome,” Kaminsky says. “It’s amazing. You got some mountain biking and river rafting, and if you get down to Chatfield, there’s trails for mountain biking, hiking and walking. There’s just a ton to do.”
A quick drive from local shopping centers
Locally, stop into the Coal Mine Shopping Center, where you can get a café treat at Daily Blend or pick up some Italian at Antonio’s. Elsewhere, Camino Real Mexican Restaurant offers traditional food like burritos and enchiladas alongside seafood, coffee, desserts and more. Kipling Marketplace’s central staple is Safeway, while a big local draw is Los Dos Potrillos off of Highway 470.
Navigating Belleview Acres' nearby highway systems
Highway 470 runs alongside the western edge of the neighborhood and separates it from the reservoirs. The highway system also links Belleview Acres in close proximity with two of Colorado’s major metropolitan areas. “Boulder’s an easy trek, because you just get on Highway 93,” Kaminsky says. “There’s great access to downtown Denver.” Going to the city isn’t necessary for some amenities, though. Just outside of town are plenty more opportunities to get out and about.
