Cay at Marina Pointe is conveniently close to the outdoors
In Cay at Marina Pointe, you’re just seventeen miles south from the excitement of Denver, but that’s not what turns seasonal visitors into lifetime residents. “We’re just twenty minutes from mountain access and a mile walk from Chatfield Reservoir, so most locals don’t feel the need to drive into the city,” says Kelly Landreth, a bartender at Siren’s Bar & Grill who has lived in the Cay at Marina Pointe area for twenty years.
Single and multifamily properties with mountain views
Single family homes are hard to come by in this Littleton neighborhood, but they can be found in The Cove subdivision. Trees and sidewalks line these residential streets, and you can find 1,300- to 2,000-square-foot ranch homes and split-level ranch homes with front lawns, attached garages and driveways, many with fenced-in backyards and back patios in the $515,000 to $640,000 price range. The Overlook at Marina Pointe is a gated community of 1,700- to 2,600-square-foot town houses with open-concept loft ceilings and attached garages, which are priced in the $450,000 to $550,000 range. Whether they live in a house, town house or apartment, Cay at Marina Pointe residents can witness the faded blue mountain views of the Front Range from their front door.

Community amenities and recreation along Chatfield Reservoir
Cay at Marina Pointe locals don’t need to live in The Overlook town houses to enjoy the Marina Pointe Community Pool and Clubhouse located within its gates. Swimmers take a poolside rest while tennis players practice their swings and basketball players shoot hoops on the outdoor courts. Off West Payne Avenue south of the neighborhood, there’s an unnamed and unpaved walking trail that winds through an open field looking directly at the mountainscape. If you continue on this path for just a mile, you’ll walk under the bridge of Highway 470 before arriving at Chatfield Reservoir and State Park. “The Reservoir is a popular place for visitors and locals to boat, water ski, kayak and swim,” says Landreth. The park also attracts campers, fishers, hikers and even hot air balloon riders.
Commercial corridors with eateries and essentials
Head north on the other side of West Chatfield Avenue to grocery shop at King Soopers and run errands in its shopping plaza, which includes a Walgreens, Southside Pizzaria and other fast-food eateries. Near the intersection of West Chatfield and South Wadsworth, residents frequent Sirens Bar & Grill, a women-owned restaurant with a bar and patio seating. “Our drink and food specials bring people in from all over the Littleton area, day and night,” Landreth says. “Next door is Pups N Cut, a super busy pet groomer, and Asian Spice, a popular Asian restaurant,” she adds.
