Sports are a big part of life at B-rated Renaissance High School, where it's common to see the community come out to support the team on game night. Students can also attend Cody High School, which receives a B-plus. The school offers a range of athletics programs, extracurricular activities and clubs for students.
Hubbell-Puritan is close to Peterson Playfield. This greenspace draws folks from all over the area looking to spend some time outside. From the tennis court and basketball courts to the baseball diamonds and walking trails, there's something for everybody at Peterson Playfield. Fields Playground is popular, too, especially for its tree-ringed field and pair of playgrounds. It's a favored spot for sitting under a tree and reading a book or taking the kids to play around on the jungle gym.
About 10 miles from downtown Detroit, Hubbell-Puritan is just off Route 10, making access to the rest of the city simple and convenient. There are also multiple bus stops around the area, so there are a few methods to get around the city living in this suburban neighborhood.
