Downtown Detroit annual events

With substantial roots in the automotive industry, Detroit is also home to some of the world’s most significant automotive events. At the Detroit Auto Show, manufacturers worldwide come to the city to show off their newest cars and technology. The Detroit Grand Prix brings IndyCar racing to the city for a street race that dates back to 1989. The Equinox is celebrated in Detroit annually with the Marche du Nain Rouge.
