Suburban streets, leafy parks and highly rated schools in West Dublin
West Dublin is a taste of midcentury suburbia in the East Bay. Situated at the western edge of Dublin, its curved streets are dotted with community parks, greenway trails and a wash of older homes built between the 1960s and '80s. It sits at the precipice of the East Bay’s meadowy hills and deep, forested ravines, just a few miles from Castro Valley. “I think it’s a great place to raise a family. The schools are great. And you can get a bigger house at a better price than if you live in the South Bay or San Francisco. That’s why so many people are moving here,” says Realtor Jameel Batshon of Century 21, who has lived and worked in Dublin since 2003.
