Homes in West Dublin are older than those in East Dublin. Most of its subdivisions were built in the mid-to-late 20th century, including lots of classic ranch-style homes and split-levels alongside some contemporary designs. These homes may be older, but they’ve been maintained, renovated and upgraded by their owners over the years. Single-family homes typically list for between $1.4 million and $2.5 million, depending on size and age. Some townhomes and condos are also available at a lower price point, listing from $600,000 to $1.2 million.Students attend some of the East Bay’s top public schools

The last four years are spent at Dublin High School, an A-plus school and five-time winner of the prestigious California Distinguished Schools Award. In 2024, 98% of its seniors graduated, putting it well above the statewide average. “It’s a state-of-the-art high school with some really good sports programs,” Batshon says.Parks, hills and trails within walking distance

It features a playground, splash pad, shady picnic areas and a towering abstract sculpture by acclaimed artist Peter Voulkos. Those looking to immerse themselves in some East Bay history might check out Dublin Historic Park and Museums. This museum’s historic buildings transport visitors back in time to the mid-1800s when the region was a hotbed of Wild West gold mining. There are also trailheads in the neighborhood that rise into the surrounding hillsides, offering some lovely views of the cityscape.Residents will find everything they need at nearby shopping plazas and malls
The neighborhood is less than a mile from Dublin Place shopping plaza. There, residents pick up everyday essentials at Target and Safeway or stop off for dinner at locally owned and chain restaurants. Burmese, Vietnamese, Mexican, Japanese and Korean options are all available here, including Burma! Burma!, a popular Burmese restaurant that’s been in the area for over 20 years. Also close by is Stoneridge Shopping Center, an upscale, indoor shopping mall with plenty of name-brand apparel shops, department stores and chain eateries. “You don’t have to leave the city to get everything you need. We’ve got mom-and-pop shops, great restaurants and all the major chains and grocery stores,” Batshon says.Residents will have an easy time commuting by car or rail
West Dublin sits just west of the confluence of interstates 580 and 680, making it ideal for commuting by car. It’s also just minutes from the West Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. The train takes passengers all over the Bay, from San Jose to San Francisco and Berkeley. “If you’re commuting, you’ll save a lot of time,” Batshon says. It’s about 35 miles to both San Francisco and San Jose, the area’s largest job centers. The nearest hospital is the Stanford Health Care – Tri-Valley, about 2 miles away.
