A community connected to Dunedin and Clearwater
Wilshire Estates, a part of unincorporated Pinellas County, offers a convenient suburb near shopping and city centers. "Dunedin is close by. It's a very happening place for people who like to go out, go shopping, bar hopping or people watch," says Albina Mayer, an area resident who works in the community. "Some of the homes have Dunedin addresses, but many consider this a part of Clearwater." The major commercial artery, U.S. 19, reaches along the eastern side. The neighborhood contains the namesake Wilshire Estates subdivision and multiple manufactured-home communities.

Honeymoon Island State Park offers a pristine beachfront for swimming and fishing. The barrier island, around 6 miles away, is a hotspot for kayaking to Pelican Cove or hiking further inland.
The Pinellas Trail connects cyclists and pedestrians with shops in Downtown Dunedin.
